Communication Policy

Emergencies & After-Hours Communication
Messages are not continuously monitored and should not be used for emergencies, urgent clinical concerns, or crisis situations.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call/text 988.
Response Times
Messages are typically returned within 1–2 business days.
Messages received after business hours, weekends, or holidays will be addressed during normal office hours as availability allows.
Text Messaging
Text communication may be used for scheduling and administrative purposes only.
Clinical matters, emergencies, and therapeutic concerns should not be discussed through text messaging.
Voicemail
Voicemail communication may be utilized when permission is provided by the client.
Email should be used for administrative communication only and should not be relied upon for urgent matters.
Telehealth Services
Services are provided via telehealth only.
Clients must be physically located within Hawaii at the time of sessions.
